In 2019, Giving Tuesday alone raised over $511 million online for nonprofit organizations. And, regional “giving days” are popping up across the nation. Chances are you have one in your community. Everyone is participating, so why wouldn’t you?
We believe the better question to ask is, “what will we do afterwards?” Giving days are great at introducing your nonprofit to dozens – even hundreds – of new donors. Going into your giving day, do you have a strategy for retaining and cultivating those new donors?
